Affordable Linux Desktops & Laptops

There are many cheap and affordable laptops that are pre-8th Gen Intel spec systems, that will effectively become "eWaste" once Windows 10 support ends and goes "End of Life". These systems are great candidiates for Linux laptops, reviving a second-life back into older laptops that are not offically supported by Windows 11.

I can source good reliable laptop, running Linux - which makes a great secure and up-to-date Operating System and which you can use for Free, without restriction.

Certified Ubuntu/Linux Laptops

Many, many laptops that are sold with Windows are 100% compatible straight "out of the box" to operate fully with Linux. Ubuntu even has a Certified list of laptops that Ubuntu is tested bug free to operate fully supported.

Older Intel-based Apple iMacs

These systems are great examples of what can be done to revive an older system for basic usage for an older family member, or a family that can't afford a newer computer. Recycled Apple systems & older desktops are great alternatives to spending thousands on a nice new computer, that many may not be able to afford.

Is it safe to use Windows 7/8.1? And not upgrade at all?

NO. It is entirely unsafe, not recommended and potentially dangerous to operate an "End of Life" operating system on your laptop, while still using it as a daily driver for internet usage, facebook and any usage that involves going online or internet in general. Always use a supported operating system, be it Windows, Mac or Linux.
